One
cloudless Sunday late in July of 2002, I was
working in Mexico on my large-scale public sculpture, “Guadalupe
Arch.” I happened to glance up, through the arch, to see the form of
the Guadalupe echoed by the form of a cloud. “Neat,” I thought, and
returned to work. A moment later, I looked up again and the figure
was still there. “WOW!” I realized how remarkable this was and
proceeded to photograph it. She stayed for about half an hour. I
feel highly acknowledged and blessed to be able to execute this
project. |
